Property developer DMCI Homes opened the door to a new residential landmark in Pasig City with the inauguration of the Lumiere Residences Information Center last July.

DMCI Homes officials kicked off the event with a ribbon-cutting at the entrance of the sales office located at the site of the upcoming high-rise condominium community, where construction is ongoing. Lumiere Residences is located at the corner of Pasig and Shaw Boulevards, just east of the Ortigas CBD.

Elmer G. Civil, senior vice president for Construction; Mark Lavapie, project-in-charge for Construction; Dennis O. Yap, project manager; Jan O. Venturanza, senior marketing manager; and DMCI Homes sales people and guests joined Father Marcelino Prudente’s blessing of the office.

Lounge areas provide comfort and meeting rooms allow for private transactions between brokers and clients. The office also serves as a showroom with its two-bedroom model unit giving a glimpse of an elegant home in Lumiere Residences.

The grand opening’s treat of good food and good music lasted until evening.

For someone who has been playing basketball since grade school, JVee Casio obviously loves the sport.

“It’s my life,” said the 27-year-old point guard of the Alaska Aces team in the Philippine Basketball Association.

From a career that included a stint in the De La Salle University Green Archers and Gilas Philippine national team, basketball also gave the No. 1 PBA draft pick in 2011 the means to achieve his personal goals endearing the sports to him even more. He was able to save enough money to acquire a home at Siena Park Residences, a DMCI Homes residential condominium community in Bicutan, ParaƱaque City.

Seeing the resort-themed community along the West Service Road while hunting for a new house in 2010, Casio easily fell in love with the address.  Its location was the deciding factor for acquiring a two-bedroom unit in the ground floor of Lilac, one of 11 five-story residential buildings. Casio meets new friends or get acquainted with neighbors whenever he plays in the basketball court. Meantime, other indoor amenities include a multi-function room, audio-visual room, game room and meeting room.

The Property Management Office people and security guards are helpful and courteous. For the residents’ convenience, there’s a water refilling and laundry station.
