Resort-themed residences builder DMCI Homes and project partner Kensington Management Corp. (KMC), an affiliate of Anflo Management & Investment Corp. (ANFLOCOR) Group of Companies have capped off the completion of the 22-story The Amaryllis by inaugurating the amenities of the residential condominium in New Manila, Quezon City recently.

Family members from both Consunji and Floirendo families (owners of DMCI and KMC, respectively) graced the blessing of The Amaryllis’ lounge area, lap pool and fitness gym on the ground floor and the Sky Lounge and Sky Park at the roof deck during the event dubbed “Harvest.”

“It is a great opportunity to work with some old friends, family friends, and put something together that is going to stand out,” Dave Consunji, grandson of DMCI Homes founder David M. Consunji, told homebuyers, colleagues, guests and KMC officials led by Linda Floirendo-Lagdameo.

Consunji recalled that it was tough for KMC patriarch, the late Antonio O. Floirendo Sr., to part with his property, where The Amaryllis now stands, to develop it into a modern residential community.

“This lot held a special place in his (Floirendo’s) heart because this was where he really intended to live. But it came out very nicely, so I’m very happy about it,” said Consunji about the project.

“If our grandfather was here today, I think he’d be happy with what he will see. In fact, he’ll be very impressed,” said KMC representative Cary Floirendo-Lagdameo, grandson of Floirendo, during the blessing ceremony. “For sure, this is going to be a landmark building here for decades to come.”

“We have a lot of fond memories here. But now, I’m looking forward to the numerous families moving here and creating their own memories,” added Lagdameo.

The blessing of the amenities was followed by the traditional coin-tossing for good fortune, refreshment and mini concert.

Indeed, happy family moments will spring once more from the place as the two companies are turning over to homeowners 450 two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom units of the nearly sold out low-density, modern tropical-themed enclave.

Start-up families will enjoy comfortable living in the elegant and spacious homes, whose sizes range from 55 to 105.5 sqm.

DMCI Homes marked the addition of a new mid-rise condo community in Parañaque City’s rich subdivision landscape with the launching of the Asteria Residences information center recently.

The seven-building Asteria Residences is the developer’s latest resort-themed community rising in a 2.7-hectare property along San Pedro Street, San Antonio Valley 2 in Barangay San Isidro. The information center and showroom located in the second floor of the Cocolife Building at the corner of N. Lopez Street and Dr. A. Santos Avenue was blessed during an event.

DMCI Homes VP for Project Development Alma Florendo and Senior Marketing Manager Jan Venturanza graced the blessing of the information center before cutting the ceremonial ribbon for the two-bedroom model unit.

Father Robert Ngairi of Mary Queen of Apostles Parish held the Mass and blessing which was also attended by homebuyers and guests.

Mary Grace Habulan, Project Development Officer of DMCI Homes, attributes the appeal of Asteria Residences to its affordability, beauty, amenities, resort feel and location that are hallmarks of the developer’s mid-rise and high-rise developments. Its two- and three-bedroom homes in the Nerine and Vinca buildings have unit areas of 49.5 to 65 sqm priced from P2.5 million to P3 million.

The model unit designed by in-house interior designer Mark Laroco mirrors the ideal home or half-way house for startup families and professionals from Parañaque, surrounding cities of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas, and Cavite.

Each unit is complete with living and dining areas, kitchen, bedrooms, toilet and bath, service area and balcony.  It has its own electric meter and provisions for air-conditioning units, cable TV and telephone line connections, smoke detectors and washing machine.

MANILA, Philippines - The beauty and bliss of living in DMCI Homes’ resort-themed residential communities highlighted once more the latest edition of the property developer’s photo contest for homeowners.

Photos of streaks of colorful lights made by passing cars in the main street of Raya Garden at night and a four-month-old baby lifted in the air by her delighted dad at a Cedar Crest garden as mom watches best depict the experience of living in a DMCI Homes community to earn the top prizes in the just-concluded contest.

The Raya Garden scene captured by resident Don Jose Machuca won first prize in the contest’s “Theme & Spaces” category while the Cedar Crest photo from couple Francine Landrito and Romano Eusebio topped the “Generation” category.

DMCI Homes VP for property management Ana Maria Ferrer and senior marketing manager Jan Venturanza awarded cash prizes and plaques of appreciation to each winner during the awarding ceremony for the contest held at the Sky Lounge of Flair Towers, DMCI Homes’ twin high-rise residential condominium in Mandaluyong City, on Sept. 27.

Ferrer and Venturanza handed the prizes and plaques to each of the two first runner-up winners in the two categories — Joseph Victorino of Tivoli Garden Residences and Michael Cabrales of Riverfront Residences. They also gave the same awards to second runner-up winners Michele Nuez of Riverfront Residences and Howard Victorino of Tivoli Garden Residences.

Ferrer and Venturanza also awarded Alta Vista de Boracay gift certificates to the monthly winners of the contest that ran from May to July. The gift certificates are good for three days and two nights of accommodation for two people at the DMCI Homes resort and condotel in Boracay island.

Venturanza says all the photos submitted by homeowners for the contest make the company proud as they are testaments of families and individuals happily living in DMCI Homes communities.

“The contest also gave homeowners a sense of pride in belonging to a DMCI Homes community, where the homes and amenities are beautiful and neighbors are good,” Venturanza adds.
